Reset:

• Turn the light bulb on and off five times (wait one second between each switch toggle). When turning it on for the fifth time, the bulb will light up with a default color (yellowish) and will start blinking (pairing mode) after a few seconds.

4. Warnings before installing

1. Turn off the circuit breaker and make sure that there's no electrical energy where the product will be installed before attempting installation.

2. This product is compatible with the E27 standard.

3. Keep the product far from metallic surfaces, microwaves and other furniture.

4. Keep the device close to a Wi-Fi access point.

5. Use the product's reset function in order to change the Wi-Fi connection being used by the product.

5. Installing the product

1. Make sure that there's no electrical energy where the product will be installed (check warnings);

2. Remove the old bulb (if necessary);

3. Insert the VDS L9WA60BW into the E27 connector and screw the product clockwise;

4. Guarantee that the device was correctly inserted in the connector;

5. Turn the circuit breaker on (if necessary);

6. Turn on the light switch of the lamp to test it.

6. Installing the Velds app

Download the app:

Register and log in: open the app and register an account, or use an existing account.

7. Pairing to the Velds app

1. Make sure your Wi-Fi router has the 2.4GHz band enabled and is connected to the internet

2. Turn the product on and wait for it to start blinking (if it doesn't, follow the reset steps in the first section)

3. Open the Velds app

4. Tap the “+” and select “Add a Device”

5. Once your product appears at the top of the list, tap it and skip to step 7

6. If your product doesn't automatically appear, select the “Illumination” category and select “Smart Bulb (VDS L9WA60BW)”

7. Input the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi password and click “Next”

8. If prompted, follow the on-screen instructions and click “Next”

9. Wait for the device to connect to the internet and be added to your virtual home

10. Tap the pencil icon to edit the product's name, add it to a room (if you've created them), and chose whether to add it to the main page, and then tap “Finish”

The interface to control the product features the following items:

	Tap this icon to leave the product's control page, and return to the main app
	Tap this icon to access more configuration options and product information
	Tap this icon to turn the smart bulb on or off
	Slide or tap the bar to set the color of the smart bulb
	Slide the brightness bar to change how bright the smart bulb is (in Color mode, there is a Saturation bar as well)

9. FAQ

1. What to do when the device setup fails?

   1. Check if the device is turned on.

   2. Make sure your mobile device is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.

   3. Verify that the Wi-Fi network is connected to the internet.

   4. Check if the Wi-Fi password entered during the setup in the Velds app is correct.

   5. Reconfigure the device.

2. How to reconfigure the device?

   1. Turn the light bulb on and off five times (wait one second between each switch toggle). When turning it on for the fifth time, the bulb will light up with a default color (yellowish) and will start blinking (pairing mode) after a few seconds.

3. What to do when the light does not turn on?

   1. Ensure that the device is properly inserted into the socket.

   2. Remove and reinsert the bulb into the socket.

   3. Check if the light switch is working properly.

   4. If the bulb continues to have issues, contact a professional electrician.

4. Can I control the device without being connected to the same Wi-Fi?

   1. The Velds app does not require your mobile device to be connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the device in order to operate it.

   2. Note: You only need to be on the same Wi-Fi during the initial setup.

5. How can I share the device with my family?

   1. In the Velds app, add other users to the home where the devices have been added (please refer to the app's user guide for more details).

6. What does it mean when the device is turned on and is blinking?

   1. When the light bulb blinks rapidly, the device is waiting to be set up in the app. It can be found quickly using Quick Pair at the top of the devices list.
